My name is Yacine Bell and I am an Anger and Stress Management
Specialist, an Executive Coach and a certified Mediator. I have been in
private practice for the past eight years and have more than seventeen
years of cumulative experience in related fields. I received formal
training and certification in 2003 as an Executive Coach from the
Coaches Training Institute in San Rafael, California, where I logged
more than 900 hundred hours of practice. In 2004, I became certified as
an Anger and Stress Management Specialist from Anderson & Anderson
Psychological Services, the most renowned and respected anger management
model in the world.
I have completed a post-graduate program in Theology at the
University of California, Berkeley; a graduate degree form the
University of Creation Spirituality, Naropa, where my focus was
Spirituality in the Workplace and; an undergraduate degree from Mills
College in Oakland, California. Additionally, I am one of few people
internationally certified to teach the SKIP-Mind Technology, a
meditation system
that can be used in every culture regardless of the language spoken.
SKIP-Mind Technology methods allow people of all ages, including
toddlers, to experience enhanced intelligence and behavior changes in
even the most challenging environments.
Presently, I work as a managerial and problem solving Coach for the
cities of Oakland, Richmond, Alameda and the County of West Contra
Costa. Past clients and partners include Sheila Hill-Fajors and
Associates, Pacific Gas & Electric Company, Bay Area Black United Fund,
and Kaiser Permanente Group.
As a Certified Personal Coach, I find particular satisfaction in
coaching women who are going through divorce. I have traveled
extensively around the world and use my travels to study many cultures
and spiritual practices. I am one of the first Certified Yoga
Instructors in the United States, having practiced and offered
workshops over the past thirty-seven years to both the public and
private sector.
If I had one sentence to describe myself and purpose it would be: I
am a creative, culturally sensitive woman interested in serving the
broader community with an enhanced ability to serve all people who
sincerely desire positive change.
